Every family has at least one. You know… the one person who is goofy, funny and probably a little crazy. For Team Orange, that person is Casey. She has a great attitude and a fun personality that go hand-in-hand with being flexible and also a willingness to do whatever needs done. Casey always gives her best effort without complaining (and believe me when I say this job is not always glitz and glam). We also love the way Casey can have her hand in several projects at a time, but stay organized and put together. She’s an exceptional problem solver who offers good ideas to help figure things out when a project gets tricky. If someone else on the team is having a rough moment or day, we can always count on Casey to boom into the room with that gigantic smile and help turn things around. She’s great like that. For all those reasons and more, Casey is currently part of our production team and training to be one of our wedding coordinators. Why wouldn’t we want her on our frontline?

In Her Own Words…

How long have you been with Merry Me? I have been with Merry Me just over a year now.

What is your favorite thing about the job? Definitely the people I work with- I love everyone on “Team Orange”.  Although working with gorgeous fabrics and flowers and making people’s dreams come true doesn’t suck!

Married/Kids/Furbabies? Married to my best friend for 24 years. We have 4 kiddos – 2 girls in college and 2 boys in high school. 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a horse.

Favorite thing to do on a day off? If I have a MM day off I am working like crazy at home catching up. If I have a MM day off and a housewife day off..I love the beach or hanging with my hubby and kids

What is one thing that can instantly make your day better? Hugs..music..tacos..wine and not necessarily in that order

Ideally, how would you spend your birthday? Surrounded by friends and family playing games and dancing

What’s your most prized possession and why? I have a little ceramic elephant my grandma gave me before she passed away. It’s a circus elephant trying to balance on a block. It sits on my sink where it reminds me daily that life is all about balance. Sometimes you fall and sometimes you just nail it. Either way, keep trying.
