We’d like to introduce you to that person everyone needs on their team. You know… the one who can tackle any list, who is insanely attentive to detail, always in pursuit of personal growth (she does power lifting + strongman competitions) and who gives an idea LIFE! Of course we’re talking about our Inventory Specialist + Floral Assistant, Erin. Did you know Erin is also a super talented ARTIST? It’s true. She has a real studio and was even commissioned by Mayor Pete and his husband Chasten to create a piece for a special art gallery at their wedding last summer! We love Erin…

How long have you been with Merry Me? I have been with MM for the past 586 days. That’s roughly 14,064 hours. All amazing. Some exhausting. Every second a BLESSING!

What is your favorite thing about the job? My favorite thing about my job is the fact that I get to be multiple people throughout the week.
Monday through Wednesday I am Inventory Queen…or Drill Sargent, it really depends who you ask. Thursday and Friday I get to play Artist and work with the floral design. Saturdays, I am the Fairy Godmother making magic for our clients. Literally bringing the vision and dreams to life!

Married/Kids/Furbabies? I have been married to my husband Troy for the past 20 years. In that time he has been a ditch digger, an electrician, a student, a Union Officer, a Law School Student and a practicing attorney. So really the next 20 years are anybody’s guess. We made 2 beautiful daughters. Addison is a catcher for Lake Michigan College Redhawks. Lillie is a junior in high school always on the pursuit of greatness.

Favorite thing to do on day off? I like to paint pretty pictures in my studio and lift very heavy weights in the gym. Cool right?

What is your favorite flavor of Pringles? Nothing beats the Original. Preferably by the fist full, in counts of 10 to 12.

What is the one thing that always guarantees a belly laugh? If you are not laughing with your belly every time, then you are just doing it wrong. Now a snort? That is a thing of beauty and reserved for those moments I am usually laughing at myself over some ridiculousness I did.

First thing I do every morning? I go through my checklist of what I need to do for the day. That also happens to be the very last thing I do before a go to bed each night.  This is paired of course with kissing my husband and him telling me how much he loves me. Really no better way to end or start a day. I AM BLESSED.
