When we got the call a (very) short 6 weeks ago, we said yes right away. I mean, when Trisha Yearwood’s people call and ask if you can pull off an upscale, farmer’s market/fall-themed, tented tailgate party for 1,500 people, you would be CRAZY to say no! The design + theme inspiration from this one came from (are you ready for this?) a drink. Yes, a drink. It’s called Autumn in a Cup and is part of Trisha’s partnership with Williams Sonoma. This cocktail inspired our fall color palate of cinnamon, copper, rust and plum paired naturally of course with blues and gold

And guess what else!? Trisha also has her own furniture + home decor line!  We were so fortunate to work with her vendor partners, Klausner Furniture, IMAX accessories and Natco Rugs and make selections that best went with our overall design. A trip to Williams Sonoma in Indianapolis was a must! Doing our homework was so fun!! We are most humbled by the fact that Trisha and her crew chose local businesses to design her first ever tailgate, which included T’s Coffee Talk bar by Breville, Her signature “Autumn in a Cup” tasting bar by Williams Sonoma, TapSnap photobooth, Breville’s Pizzeria,  a custom made Trisha Yearwood mascot and some of the country star’s favorite recipes for guests. We branded EVERYTHING (even the table runners, life-size jenga game and coffee mugs) with her Trisha’s Tailgate logo. It was unlike any event we’ve ever done and we can’t say enough great things about this classy woman and her outstanding entourage. Scroll on for more than 120 pictures of the pretties, the party and the behind-the-scenes… we captured it all!

Behind The Scenes

So what was Trisha’s favorite part of the tailgate design we created? She had two favorites, actually. We were fortunate enough to snag a few minutes of Trisha’s time as she walked through part of the tent and did a Facebook Live with us Saturday morning.

Favorite #1: The lights. She loves strung lights and was thrilled by how it all came together with the design.

Favorite #2: The long tables. She loves what farm tables represent in bringing people together to celebrate and share a meal while creating memories.
