Annie + Andrew’s day was all about details, legacy and flowers. As guests entered the couple’s reception at Downes Ballroom inside Corbett Hall on the east side of Notre Dame Stadium, they walked into a lovely and fragrant array of those fresh flowers. Then they headed up to the 8th floor of the building for a cocktail hour overlooking the football stadium on one side and a balcony on the other, with a gorgeous white and gold reception design one floor below.
Perhaps one of the most special parts of the day is the history within it. Annie’s family is deeply rooted in Notre Dame. Her parents also married there and all of Annie’s siblings are Notre Dame alumni. And that beautiful cake? It was made by a friend of the family who happens to be the 26th person in his family to earn a degree from Notre Dame. This one was a beauty, for sure!
